At DNA Woods, the strength of our products begins with the careful selection of the finest rubber trees grown in our own estates. Only about 25% of the best-grown trunks are chosen for production, ensuring unmatched quality. Once selected, the trunks are precisely sized using advanced machinery, and stains or patches are carefully removed. The wood then undergoes a protective treatment, being immersed in a Boric Borax chemical bath for over 30 minutes to safeguard it against insect attacks. After treatment, the wood is oven-dried until the moisture level reaches 10–16%, creating the perfect balance of strength and durability. From there, the best blocks are cut to shape, sanded smooth, and inspected by our dedicated Quality Control team, ensuring only premium pieces make it into our products. The remaining wood is responsibly utilized as timber or firewood, leaving nothing to waste. This rigorous process, rooted in sustainability and precision, is the secret behind the lasting demand for DNA Woods products.
